Deutz-Fahr d 6806

The Deutz-Fahr D 6806 has become a real vintage tractor, because it was produced between 1974 and 1981. As a result, it fulfilled the condition of having been put into operation at least thirty years ago. The Deutz-Fahr 6806 was produced in both standard and four-wheel drive versions. Both versions are powered by an air-cooled, 3768 cm3, 4-cylinder diesel engine with direct injection. The four-stroke engine in the Deutz-Fahr 6806 brings it to 50 kw (68 HP) at a rated speed of 2300 U/min and a speed of up to 30 km/h. Both versions feature built-in dual-clutch transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse speeds, synchronous transmission was available on request. The hydraulic system in the Deutz-Fahr D 6806 has a three-point hitch with Deutz-Transformatic and has a lifting capacity of 2,600 kg, an oil flow of 34.7 l/min and 175 bar. The Deutz-Fahr 6806 was produced in two different finishes. Models of the Deutz-Fahr D 6806 produced prior to 1978 had the bonnet and wings painted Deutz Green 1974 and the hull in painted brown/green. Starting in 1987, the bonnet and wings of the Deutz-Fahr D 6806 were also painted in Deutz green, but the hull was painted in black/blue. In both variants, the wheels were painted blood orange. Due to the high reliability of the Deutz-Fahr D 6806 some machines are still in agricultural use even today. For the most part, however, they are well-maintained and restored collector's items.
